Anything Project – Getting Started & Important Dates

Hi friends, Are you ready to get started on the Anything Project? We’re kicking off with our live event tonight! It’s not too late to sign up!

In case you’re looking for the live event page, we’re having the party over here tonight at 9 pm EST | 6 pm PST : http://www.faithgateway.com/anything-bible-study-kickoff/?live

Come join us even if you haven’t signed up!

I am so happy that so many of you are coming on this journey to discover what happens when we live out in obedience and surrender to God… when we give God our anythings.

Anything.

This prayer has brought all of the very hardest and the very best parts of our lives into place. I can’t begin to imagine if we would have missed it all.

Since the original release of Anything, many of you asked for a Bible study companion. It was an easy decision since there is nothing I love more than leading women through their own journeys in the Word of God. After trusting Christ for salvation, I believe this prayer is the most essential thing you will ever do. And my prayer for you is that with the addition of the study guide, this book will lead you to an even greater faith, greater prayers, and greater stories in your life.

So here’s how the study will work.

Each week during the study you will have a main passage of Scripture to study, assigned chapters of the book to read, two projects for personal reflection and application, and additional study questions to answer — all found printed in the back of the new edition of the book. We’ve given you the week 1 materials to get started, but you will need the new edition of Anything to continue weeks 2-8.

My hope is that you will gather a small group and commit to gather for eight weeks and process this study together. But if you don’t have a small group, that’s okay! You can completely do this on your own and participate online with the group of women at FaithGateway, led by women’s editor Laurie McClure.

Here’s the schedule:

  • June 15: Live Kickoff Event @ 9 pm EST / 6 pm PST
  • Week 1: June 15-20
  • Week 2: June 21-27
  • Week 3: June 28-July 4
  • Week 4: July 5-11
  • Week 5: July 12-18
  • Week 6: July 19-25
  • Week 7: July 26-Aug 1
  • Week 8: Aug 2-Aug 8

Don’t worry if you miss any week, or if you’re meeting with your small group and you need to take a week off. All of the companion videos will be available online so you can go at your own pace. Each week you’ll receive an encouraging email and reminder about that week’s study, with links to watch the online videos. The video series will share the stories of courageous people I know who have prayed their anything and show the kind of movements of God that come through surrendered people. I can’t wait to share their stories with you!

Great people don’t do great things; God does great things through surrendered people. [tweet this]

I wish this freeing, wild, unsafe kind of faith for you. A faith that says if God is real then I plan on living like it. There is nothing more dangerous, more compelling, more freeing, more radical, more real, more satisfying, or more powerful than a smidgen of faith. A small seed of it can move mountains, so a large dose of it will move the world. And that’s happening. God is moving through our generation in ways I could have only dreamed.
