Books to Give to Mom

Editor’s note: Mother’s Day is right around the corner and I don’t know about your mama, but mine is challenging to buy for! She doesn’t want anything fancy, or expensive. She doesn’t want a massage, she doesn’t need much, and she’s completely content with a painted-glitter-macaroni necklace from the kids. She’s been given gobs of flowers, bubble bath, and squishy slippers… When pressed she’ll say, “How about a pair of L’eggs pantyhose?” (That’s code for “I’m good. Just get me a funny card.”) One gift that wins every time, though, is books! In case you’re looking for a special gift (or if it’s time to refresh your bedside table!), too, here are a few of our favorites for Mom.
