Questions and Answers
If you have other questions please leave them in the comments section below. We'll add to our Q&A as we go along. You're helping make this book club great!
How long are each of the videos?
Each video with Jen is about 30 minutes, and we discuss a different section of the book and answer some of her reader questions. If you’re hosting a book club in your home, you might want to start off with your group and watch the video together, then open the floor for your discussion.
Can I still participate if I live outside the United States?
Absolutely! For the Love is available in Canada and the UK, and we’re checking on other locations and will get back to you. Even if you don’t have a copy of the book you can watch the videos from anywhere around the world where you have an Internet connection.
I am already part of a book club. How can we do this along with you?
Jen would be absolutely thrilled if you made For the Love your book club’s next pick! You can use all the discussion questions in your free downloads above. Or make up your own questions and use ours as conversation starters! All of the hangout videos will be available on replay indefinitely, so your book club ladies can watch them later. Watching the videos will be like inviting Jen into your home to chat and interact with you about the book. It should be a fun way to spice up your usual book club meetings!
What is our reading schedule? Do I need to read the chapters in advance?
The book is divided into four sections and we tackle one per week.
Week 1: Your Very Own Self (Chapters 1-8)
Week 2: All These People Who Live in Your House (Chapters 9-14)
Week 3: Friends, Neighbors, Strangers, and Enemies (Chapters 15-20)
Week 4: Church, Church People, Not-Churched People and God (Chapters 21-26)
