Immeasurable Love

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. — John 3:16

Almighty and holy God, You “so loved the world” that You gave us the gift of Your “only begotten Son,” a gift beyond imagining. I am speechless at the realization that You allowed Jesus to die so that I would have life everlasting. Mindful of Your great sacrifice, Lord God, I long to live each day to bring joy to Your heart and to share the news of Your love with others. I am humbled to be in Your presence, and my heart overflows with gratitude for Your mercy and grace.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. — Psalm 19:14
