3 Reasons Why You Should Join This Study

  • Discover how all our longings are rooted in a need for God—and nothing else will satisfy when it comes to filling that void.
  • Understand that our longings are built from the blueprint of our needs: for protection, for love, for God. And those needs aren’t going anywhere.
  • Learn what it is that keeps drawing you back into the same old traps. It's not our longings that are the problem. It's where they sometimes lead you.

Hear from Sheila about this study...

author-photo-sheila-walshOver the last 25 years I've had the privilege of speaking to over 5 million women in different countries around the world. Even though our stories are different, even though we're different ages and have had different experiences in life, there is a similar thread that runs through all our stories. The word that I use for it is LONGING. Some of you may be thinking...

... if I was just married,

... if I just had a child,

... if I just did THIS,

then that longing would go away.

But it doesn't, does it? It remains...

Our longings aren't something to try to get rid of. Because it is a sacred ache - a place that only God can fill.

I'm learning how to take those longings to God. Some days my longings have led me to places of brokenness and other times they have brought me so much closer to Him.

That is where this study begins... and it seems like the perfect person to walk us through this study is King David. He made a lot of mistakes, but he was known as a man after God's own heart. I'd like to take this journey together so we can be known as people after God's own heart.
