Our Summer Book Club Pick Is Woman Evolve!

Let’s Read It Together!

Hey, friends! Are you ready for this?

Sit down and buckle up because Sarah Jakes Roberts is joining FaithGateway and our women’s community, Faith.Full, for an exclusive summer book club! I know. I practically fainted. She’s one of my very favorites! I first heard Sarah Jakes Roberts (SJR) preach at Catalyst West a few years ago and let. me. tell. you. my pen could not keep up with the notes I was trying to keep as she was setting the stage on fire with a word from God! Woooo!

Her new book, Woman Evolve, just came out eight weeks ago and has been on practically every bestseller list including the Amazon.com TOP 10 among all books in the country! Can you believe it? Women around the world are reading about the very first woman God created, Eve, and getting encouragement from this sister who can PREACH!!!!

In Woman Evolve, SJR takes us back to the Garden of Eden to share the lessons we can learn from the story of Eve and the strength and redemption hidden in her story.

I don’t know about you, but Eve has actually never been my favorite woman in the Bible and she wasn’t Sarah’s either! But one day, God stirred SJR’s heart to re-examine Eve’s life and it set her on a course to discover she’s the most underappreciated woman in history!

“We’re so blinded by her mistake that we don’t see how she gathered the pieces she had left and dared to revolutionize her life… Like Eve, you don’t have to live defined by the past. Don’t attach your life today to who you were but to who you can become.” ~ Sarah Jakes Roberts

Can I get an Amen to that? I’ve had to pick up the pieces of shattered dreams and mistakes and I bet you have, too. None of us look around and see lives that look like the dreams we imagined as little girls, right? I’ve had seasons when it’s felt like I’ve utterly ruined my life. Does that sound familiar? I’ve had to start over from scratch and ask the Lord to rebuild and trust that He will do a new thing. Maybe you have, too. Sister, we’re in this together!

Listen, our messy pasts, our sins, our bad choices, and our disappointments have a lot to teach us. God can create such beauty with the wreckage when we give it all to Him! He can take it all and use it to help us become the person He intended us to be all along! He’s that good!

“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘌𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘶𝘱 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘧.” – Sarah Jakes RobertsYes, there’s a little bit of Eve in all of us…

But we’re going to take the focus off our fears, insecurities, and mistakes and learn how to break through to our future!
