The Weekly Faith Project: A Challenge to Journal, Reflect, and Cultivate a Genuine Faith

The moment has come. Your alarm goes off (maybe for the second time), and your feet hit the floor. It’s still a little dark outside, and you’re all sorts of groggy. It’s the start of another day, and you already feel exhausted, overwhelmed and underprepared. You have approximately 45 minutes to take a shower, make your coffee, and get the kids (if you have kids) ready for school and out the door.

For many of us, doesn’t this feel a little too close to home?

On most days, life feels hurried and scattered with few moments to stop and just breathe. Needless to say, it’s hard to carve out moments to connect with God, much less to cultivate a fulfilling spiritual life. Have you ever felt this way? You’re not alone!

Maybe you’re like me, and you’ve longed for things to be another way. You’d love to start your days with a hot cup of coffee, journaling, and a conversation with the Lord.

Throughout the Bible, we see the benefits of spending time in the Lord’s presence and connecting with God through His Word.

Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. — Psalm 119:105

Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. — John 15:4

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. — 2 Timothy 3:16-17

But if we don’t currently have a regular practice of spending time with God, where should we start? How can we make the most of the time that we have?

For so many people, including me, journaling can be such a moving, inspiring way to build a deeper connection with the Lord. But few things can feel more intimidating than a journal full of empty pages without any real direction on what to read or where to start.

Enter The Weekly Faith Project. For those of us who long to build a deeper connection with God, but feel pushed and pulled by the demands of life, this journal is for us. As a follow up to The Weekly Prayer Project, this resource provides such a great way to joyfully become more aware of the presence of God in your life.

The Weekly Faith Project takes you on a 52-week journey with prompts and questions to help guide you into a deeper relationship with God. With Scripture, an inspiring read and a challenge to focus on each week, it provides an unintimidating way to dive into the Word and grow closer to Christ. The journal is also set up so you can enjoy each week in order, or jump to the themes that speak straight to you and your soul. How awesome is that?

You can start The Weekly Faith Project right away, or begin on January 1st for a full year of inspiration. It also makes a great gift for family and loved ones during the holiday season.

If you’re ready to dive into the Word, grow closer to God, and have a beautiful resource to guide you along the way, you won’t want to want to miss The Weekly Faith Project.

What are some gaps or places in your day or week that you can dedicate to quiet time with God? Who is someone else you know that would love this resource?
